With the original tracts of land developed in 1982, the north Austin community of Copperfield is an affordable alternative to the central neighborhoods and downtown.  Home to over 42,000 residents, Copperfield is minutes from downtown Georgetown and Cedar Park and all of the shopping and entertainment available from the recent commercial development.

Bordered by Yager Lane to the north, IH35 to the west, Dessau Road to the east and Walnut Creek to the south, the neighborhood has easy access to most major expressways including the Mo-Pac and the 183.  With its close proximity to so many commercial and downtown areas, Copperfield residents can enjoy hundreds of shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs nearby.  For recreational activities and nature trails, adults and children head to the Big Walnut Creek Greenbelt and Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park and enjoy the seasonal foliage. With all these amenities, however, Copperfield maintains a safe and friendly neighborhood atmosphere.

As residents of the Pflugerville Independent School District, Children attend Pflugerville Elementary, Dessau Middle and Connally High School.  Local parents are proud to cite that the P.I.S.D. has been recognized by the Texas Education Agency for Outstanding Achievement by its students.
